Financial Chaos - probably in many nations in the next five years.
The word chaos is chosen to express likelihood of reduced profit margin at the same time as acceleration in cost of living.
Increasingly often, people ask my opinion on what is likely to happen financially. I am now thinking that the dangers are more numerous and larger than ever before in my lifetime. Quite likely, in the early months of 2005, the peak of prosperity is behind us.
In the past century, protection could be obtained by keeping your net worth in cash or government bonds. Now the surplus capacities are so great, that most currencies and bonds are likely to continue losing their purchasing power.
Mortgages and ...

The Lifetime Channel and its new outlet, the Lifetime Movie Network, are known for its interest in programming for women, some of it from a feminist worldview.
This Sunday evening, March 28, 2010, however, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and 5 p.m. Pacific Time, the Lifetime Movie Network is giving viewers the chance to see something from a very strong, traditional Christian viewpoint. The occasion is the television premiere of a wonderful movie made for television called AMISH GRACE, based on the book by Donald B. Kraybill, Steven M. Nolt and David L. Weaver-Zercher.
AMISH GRACE is the true story how an Amish community forgives a man named Charlie Roberts who kills many of their young schoolgirls in cold blood. T...
Ten conservatives on the Texas Board of Education corrected faulty history and economics textbooks recently by stressing the benefits of America's free market capitalist system, showing students the Christian heritage and Christian worldview of most of the Founding Fathers, and making sure students learn about the conservative resurgence in the 1980s and 1990s.
The rulings by the board will affect the rest of the country, because Texas is one of the largest buyers of textbooks, despite the Digital Age in which we live.
"We are adding balance," said Dr. Don McLeroy, the leader of the conservative faction on the board. "History has already been skewed. Academia is skewed too far to the left."
The board also rejected the unconstitutional no...
Actress Dakota Fanning's irresponsible handlers, including, apparently, her mother, have put the 15-year-old star in another adult drama, this time one that includes a "steamy" lesbian kiss, a "heavily implied" lesbian sex scene, and scenes of snorting cocaine in bathrooms.
The movie is about the early career of openly lesbian rock star Joan Jett and her first band.
Even Kirk Honeycutt, a film critic for The Hollywood Reporter, wondered whether the movie glamorizes the addictive behavior depicted in the script.
Dr. Ted Baehr, founder and publisher of MOVIEGUIDE®, told WorldNetDaily, the famous news website, "I think fame and fortune have corrupted [Dakota's] mother, and they have unfortunately made some bad calls that are getting worse ...

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Chris Hedges, in Empire of Illusion: The End of Literacy and the Triumph of Spectacle, writes that the “cruelty” of the “new” pornography “takes a toll on the bodies, as well as the emotions, of porn actresses.” But someone is trying to help them:
The Pink Cross booth has a table of anti-porn tracts and is set up in the far corner of the Sands Expos Convention Center in Las Vegas. It is an unlikely participant at the annual Adult Video News (AVN) expo. Pink Cross is a Christian outreach program for women in the porno industry, run by ex-porn star Shelley Lubben.
I first watched Shelley Lubben on YouTube in early 2009. An “ex-porn star,” she has created the Pink Cross ...
MOVIEGUIDE® views with happiness and relief the ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which tends to be very left-wing, that the Pledge of Allegiance and the phrase "one nation under God" do not violate the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Any sensible, well-read student of our Constitution knows that this is the case, but we wonder why it took so long for this particular court to recognize it? And, we can't help but also wonder why one of the three judges voted against the Pledge?
The other thing that bothers MOVIEGUIDE®, however, is why the American people have to wait for a federal court to rule that the Pledge of Allegiance and such phrases as "In God we trust" on our money are constitutional. In actual fac...

For eight years AMERICAN IDOL has been one of the most popular programs on television. Last year it attracted enough Christian viewers to give clean-cut Kris Allen what appeared to be an upset victory over the very talented, openly homosexual Adam Lambert.
This year AMERICAN IDOL has replaced judge Paula Abdul with the famed lesbian celebrity Ellen Degeneres.
Like President Obama declaring June 2009 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month this choice is intended to send a message: "Homosexuality is normal and acceptable."
The path to legal gay marriage is paved by the social acceptance of homosexuality. The largest voting block holding up progress (in the minds of those who want gay marriage) is Chri...
A new study has concluded that Abstinence Education in schools is effective in reducing the level of sexual activity among youth. The same study went on to say that education programs promoting contraception as the answer appear to be ineffective.
Leslee Unruh, President of the National Abstinence Clearinghouse, says of the abstinence focus, "These programs help develop self control and self esteem, teaching kids they do not need to fall prey to the game of Russian Roulette with condoms."

Leading global warming scientists Phil Jones recently admitted to the BBC that there has been no "statistically significant" warming in the last 15 years!
Jones also admitted that it was warmer on the Earth between 800 and 1300 A.D., when there were no cars or factories or large urban areas, than it is now.
Jones recently resigned as head of the climate research unit at the University of East Anglia, when emails showed that he and other "climate change" scientists were manipulating data to strengthen their arguments for radically new energy policies to fight "global warming."
Despite these events, Jones maintains that there has been a warming trend since the 1950s due to man-made activities.

Climate change "scientists" have had to withdraw a 2009 study confirming a United Nations report saying sea levels probably will rise as much as 17 inches by 2100 because of "global warming."
Swedish geologist and physicist Nils-Axel Mörner has long disputed the claims by United Nations environmentalist activists and computer model "scientists" that sea levels are rising.
"The sea is not rising," he says. "It hasn't risen in 50 years."
Instead of using computer models, Mörner says he goes out into the field to study sea levels. For instance, after six local field investigations, he kept telling the leaders of the Maldives Islands, who have long been advocating the spending of vast sums to stop "global warming," that the sea levels had ...
