Leading global warming scientists Phil Jones recently admitted to the BBC that there has been no "statistically significant" warming in the last 15 years!
Jones also admitted that it was warmer on the Earth between 800 and 1300 A.D., when there were no cars or factories or large urban areas, than it is now.
Jones recently resigned as head of the climate research unit at the University of East Anglia, when emails showed that he and other "climate change" scientists were manipulating data to strengthen their arguments for radically new energy policies to fight "global warming."
Despite these events, Jones maintains that there has been a warming trend since the 1950s due to man-made activities.

Climate change "scientists" have had to withdraw a 2009 study confirming a United Nations report saying sea levels probably will rise as much as 17 inches by 2100 because of "global warming."
Swedish geologist and physicist Nils-Axel Mörner has long disputed the claims by United Nations environmentalist activists and computer model "scientists" that sea levels are rising.
"The sea is not rising," he says. "It hasn't risen in 50 years."
Instead of using computer models, Mörner says he goes out into the field to study sea levels. For instance, after six local field investigations, he kept telling the leaders of the Maldives Islands, who have long been advocating the spending of vast sums to stop "global warming," that the sea levels had ...

A federal judge in Washington, D.C. refused to dismiss a case against film producers who are charged with trafficking hard-core pornographic films across state lines and putting obscene trailers on the Internet.
The producers attempted to stand on the First Amendment that grants freedom of speech, saying their movie "Fetish Fanatic" was protected by the U.S. Constitution. However, Judge Leon was quick to point out to the offenders that the First Amendment does not include obscene material.

Editor's Note: "Invictus" won MOVIEGUIDE(r) Faith & Freedom Award, so the movie has merit. However, our friend Dr. Peter Hammond points out that it has many historical flaws. Dr. Peter Hammond has been a pioneer missionary in Africa and the author of many books. This article is reprinted by permission.
This stirring new film on South Africa's 1995 Rugby World Cup victory includes serious distortions of history. Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Morgan Freeman as President Nelson Mandela, "Invictus" makes a major contribution towards the building up of the mythology of Nelson Mandela as a modern day idol.

"Islamic extremists," aka practicing Muslims following the Koran's "Shariah Law," slaughtered at least 200 Christians Sunday morning in three villages near Jos, Nigeria.
Also, about 75 homes were burned down, confirmed Information Commissioner Gregory Yeniong in the mostly Christian state of Plateau. Rampaging Muslim herdsmen from a neighboring state, carrying machetes, hacked to death hundreds of Christians, including many women and children.
About 3,000 people have fled from the area of the violence, aid officials said Thursday.
Twelve states in Northern Nigeria have enacted strict Muslim Law from the Koran and the Hadith. Northern Nigeria is ranked No. 27 on this year's Open Doors World Watch List of the worst ...

"Take action now or complain later."
This is the mantra of the very active cast of "Tea Party: The Documentary Film," an array of regular people who've had enough with the taxing of their tea.*
* (note: ‘tea' is here being used as a metaphor for life, and does not refer to - as in 1773 - actual, sippable tea).
From the opening montage, we are asked whether our society depends on grassroots involvement to make a difference, and from the opening montage, we are thrust into the worlds of those who firmly believe the answer to that is yes.
These people are an average bunch: A young black man who voted for Obama and then felt robbed after a $787 billion stimulus bill and bailouts of the automotive and financial industries;...
From “King of the world” to “You like me, you really like me,” Academy Award winning speeches typically are self absorbed or laced with fashionable liberal ramblings.
However, this year, the Oscar acceptance speeches had some positive things to say that oddly mirrored some of the speeches that were given at the Movieguide® Gala two weeks ago. Oscars are getting more family friendly, and we are thrilled with the trend.
We thought Movieguide® readers would like to read some of the speech highlights that we found especially moving.

Studies by Nielsen PreView show that the box office success of Oscar nominees is the "most important predictor of overall Academy Award viewership" on TV.
Thus, the last time the Oscar telecast had a high rating was in 2004, when the blockbuster LORD OF THE RINGS: RETURN OF THE KING won Best Picture.
Ratings for the 2010 ceremony are expected to be huge, with three major blockbusters, including UP, THE BLIND SIDE and AVATAR, vying for major awards throughout the night.

In February, popular singer and composer Elton John said, "I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems."
Elton John's statement shows the severe lack of knowledge of our age.
For centuries, people who were educated had read the Bible. The Bible makes it clear that Jesus Christ says that He is God and proves that He is God. As C.S. Lewis says, from the Bible we can only conclude that Jesus is God, a lunatic, or something worse. The resurrection and transformation of billions of lives is the seal of approval of His Godhood. As such, He is neither a vengeful man as Martin Scorsese portrayed him in THE LAST TEMPTATION OF JESUS CHRIST, nor an auto-erotic self-obsessed hedonist as ...
