A new video, "Journey Inside the Cell," dramatically illustrates the evidence for Intelligent Design within DNA, according to Dr. Stephen C. Meyer, author of SIGNATURE IN THE CELL: DNA AND THE EVIDENCE FOR INTELLIGENT DESIGN (HarperOne, 2009).
"This video is going to make things worse for critics of intelligent design," Dr. Meyer says.
The video can be viewed at www.SignatureintheCell.com.

Making the English language version of Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki's PONYO ON THE CLIFF has been a labor of love for John Lasseter, head of Pixar and Disney's animation studios.
"For a long time, I have wanted American audiences to discover Miyazaki-san's films," he said. "I've dedicated myself to try and do what I can to bring these movies to American audiences. Once you watch one of them, they kinda blow you away and you want to see more."
Miyazaki's movies have been an influence on the beloved animated movies that Pixar itself has made, Lasseter noted.
"We've studied many of his action sequences," he revealed, "and how he does what he's able to achieve. It's been very inspiring for us.

Former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin has accused Obama of "misleading" the public, especially senior citizens, about the provisions in the Democratic healthcare bill in the U.S. House of Representatives that would establish "death panels" run by federal bureaucrats, who might encourage or try to convince terminally ill, seriously ill and disabled senior citizens to forego expensive healthcare treatment near the end of their lives.
Her accusation came in response to Obama's response to her recent comments about the provisions. Obama had said that this kind of forced or proposed euthanasia was not the intent of the bill's provisions.
Palin pointed out, however, that the "end-of-life" provisions...
Apparently, prayer is no longer considered a part of our First Amendment right to freedom of speech.
Principal Frank Lay and athletic director Robert Freeman of Pace High School in Florida were charged with criminal contempt for praying over several students during an honorary luncheon for athletic achievements and during another lunch where several employees asked for a blessing over the meal.
After the first prayer, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) charged that both men were endorsing religion in a public school and thus breaking the law.
Rather than fight the ACLU, the high school agreed to a settlement that restricts prayer or religious activities of any kind on school grounds.
The men and their lawyers have stated that the...
Iran's Muslim government has arrested more than 30 Christians in the last two weeks as part of its recent violent crackdown on protestors and its purge of opponents.
Most of the Christian victims were released, but eight remain in jail. Also, two Christian women imprisoned since March 5, Maryam Rostampour and Marzieh Esmaeilabad, remain in jail because they have refused to recant their Christian faith.
Amnesty International reported on Aug. 7 an average of two executions a day since the controversial presidential elections held June 12.
U.S. President Obama has declined to speak out strongly against the crackdown on Christians and protesters in Iran in favor of "diplomacy."

A young female Marine who often helped with my research, brought a fellow male officer to help move my steel filing cabinets into a larger space. Later, over coffee, the young man politely asked how my research had led me to conclude that Playboy and all other pornography is homoerotic? I spent about an hour answering his questions as to why, after decades of research, I finally understood what I had recalled reading by some liberal philosopher, that all pornography is inherently homosexual. The next morning the female officer called me to say that at sunrise she found the barracks dumpster fill...
MOVIEGUIDE®: The Family Guide to Movies and Entertainment has asked the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) to drop its "failed" ratings system and return to a "standards-based" Code of Decency, announced Dr. Ted Baehr, MOVIEGUIDE®'s founder and publisher.
MOVIEGUIDE® is also asking Americans to sign a petition urging the MPAA to end the ratings system and adopt a Code of Decency.
"The MPAA's ratings system never worked really well, but it has gotten much worse since it added the ambiguous PG-13 rating," Dr. Baehr said. "Parents, especially mothers, can no longer trust the ratings for movies, especially in light of the PG-13 ratings for movies like THE LOVE GURU and LAND OF THE LOST, and the R ratings for pornographic mo...
