Liberals Refuse To Halt Fairness Doctrine
July 23, 2009

Democrats on the House Rules Committee voted 8-4 along party lines recently to reject an amendment stopping the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from restoring the Fairness Doctrine on the airwaves. "Tonight freedom was blocked from getting even a chance to be voted on," Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) said. Restoring the Fairness Doctrine would give the federal government control over political speech on the airwaves, especially on talk radio. Recently, the FCC proposed rules promoting stricter oversight over radio programming. - Source: WorldNetDaily, 07/15/09.   ...

Male Chauvinism Epidemic Suggests Chivalry Is Dead
July 17, 2009

By Nina May, rwnetwork.net There was a time in our country when a woman had gallant men riding in to defend her honor. Since the failed feminist movement has destroyed these pedestals of virtue and reduced women to nothing more than dim reflections of the boorish men they seek to emulate, it is no surprise that chivalry has experienced societal obsolescence. Otherwise, we would be seeing the husbands, brothers, fathers, and sons of dishonored women rising up in righteous indignation, and just pure justified anger, at the way their wives, sisters, daughters, and mothers are being treated by the current crop of cads. When Hugh Hefner's misogynist, exploitive website posted a list of 10 conservative women who should be graphically raped f...

Protect Your Children from HARRY POTTER Occultism
July 17, 2009

By Dr. Ted Baehr, Publisher Imagine MOVIEGUIDE® giving a Harry Potter movie Minus Two instead of a Minus Four. The reason is simply this – HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE is one of the mildest Harry Potters in terms of violence and in terms of witchcraft. The witchcraft is less fun and appealing, and more of the state of being in a fallen world. Both the good witches and the bad witches don’t look like they’re having fun. There are also some direct encouragements toward cardinal virtues, such as Tom Riddle being told when he comes to Hogwarts not to steal. That said, it should be noted that even criminals have their own codes of honor and every religion has some virtues. Thus, the moral virtues in HALF-BLOOD PRINCE, there...

Ukraine Bans ‘BRUNO’ Movie!
July 16, 2009

The country of Ukraine, freed from the grip of the Communists, has banned the movie BRUNO as "morally dangerous." Nine of 14 members of Ukraine's culture commission voted for the total ban. "The film contains unjustified showing of genital organs and sexual relations," the ministry of culture said in a letter to the movie's Ukrainian distributor, "and shows heterosexual acts and homosexual perversions in an explicitly realist manner." The movie also has "sadistic manifestations which could damage the morality of citizens." Good for Ukraine! It is exactly correct in its description of the pornographic, completely unacceptable nature of this sick movie. Of course, this news may be no surprise to supporters of MOVIEGUIDE®, since our publ...

Fred Travalena – Farewell
July 15, 2009

By Judith Courtesy of The Flaming Nose Date: Monday, June 29, 2009 In the midst of the deaths of Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson there was a new obituary added this week. Fred Travalena, famed impersonator, passed away Sunday after years of struggling with cancer. Fred never became a television icon and he certainly never rose to the monumental career heights of Michael Jackson, but he had a huge talent, a quick wit and a clever take on impersonations. He could do anyone and do them all better than anyone else. More importantly, he was a good man. I had the opportunity to work with him some 21 years ago on a promotional campaign touting the ten best vacation destinations in America. I had the big cheap thrill of select...

Fondly Remembering Fred Travalena
July 15, 2009

By Dr. Ted Baehr, Publisher of MOVIEGUIDE® Although Michael Jackson's death has grabbed all the headlines, there have been several famous celebrities who have died recently whose star is on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Farrah Fawcett made some headlines our the world, as did Ed McMahon, but the articles about McMahon overlooked his incredible service to his country in World War II and the Korean War as a Marine aviator. One of the best and the brightest was Fred Travalena (October 6, 1942 - June 28, 2009). At one point in his career, Fred was a regular on Johnny Carson's show and some of the best television shows of the day. He also hosted his own television specials. If you don't remember him, and you should, it may be because Fred w...

“Sexual Acting Out” Among Four-Year-Olds!
July 15, 2009

A UK government report says that many of their young primary school children, even as young as 4-years-old, are being removed from class for "inappropriate sexual behavior." The sexual behavior involved touching other children inappropriately and using sexually graphic language. The breadth of the problem precludes it being something stemming from individual families. Rather, Norman Wells, head of the Family Education Trust in the UK says, "We are failing to learn the lesson that introducing children to sexual language and imagery, whether on television, videos, DVDs, the Internet, or in formal school lessons will inevitably break down children's natural sense of reserve." To this comment, we can only add a hearty, Amen! This report conf...

The Continued Rape of a Child Actor
July 15, 2009

Dakota Fanning, the 15-year-old child actress who played a rape victim in HOUNDDOG last year, is at it again. It was announced that she and actress Kristen Stewart (from the TWILIGHT movie fame) will have a "steamy bedroom scene" together in the movie THE RUNAWAYS, a biography of rock star Joan Jett. The obvious question comes to mind, "What are her parents thinking?" - Source: New York Daily News, 07/02/09.   ...

The Wages of Sin Is Early Death!
July 15, 2009

Today's average life expectancy is more than 75, so why did Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett die at age 50 and 62, especially when they were wealthy people who had access to top-of-the-line medical care? The answer may be in the immoral lifestyles that the two celebrities led. For example, author Ian Halperin has reported that Jackson's interest may not just have been in young boys but also in having homosexual affairs with young men. Halperin reports that Jackson allegedly had homosexual affairs with two young men and that witnesses say strings of other young men often visited his house. Jackson's alleged homosexual lifestyle and celebrity-fueled dissipation led to a dangerous mix of prescription drugs, an addiction that allegedly beg...

Liberal Justice Admits She Thought Genocide Was the Intent of Original 1973 Pro-Abortion Ruling
July 15, 2009

Liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has admitted that she thought genocide - limiting "growth in populations that we don't want too many of" - was the intent of the original 1973 Supreme Court ruling to make abortion legal throughout the U.S.A. The Justice's Nazi-like comments came during an interview with the New York Times Magazine that appears in the July 12 edition of that newspaper. According to the Guttmacher Institute in July 2008, 37% of all abortions in the U.S. are given to black women, meaning that black women are about three times more likely than white women to get abortions. The pro-abortion, birth control movement was founded by real racists who called themselves eugenicists, and Justice Ginsburg seems to b...
