Dr. Michael Nazir-Ali, the former Anglican Bishop of Rochester in the United Kingdom, recently urged British churches to stand by traditional biblical values, despite attacks on those values by the government and other sources.
“Britain is suffering because we have been too willing to forget what made us who we are,” the Bishop noted.
He added that Christians in the United Kingdom must support the right to life as well as traditional marriage and the family. He also said that Christians should celebrate the virtues of their Christian heritage, including the Magna Carta, the end of slavery and the easing of labor conditions for men, women and children.
