BAD GRANDPA brings slime to the top
Paramount’s demendted BAD GRANDPA finally sent GRAVITY down to earth. The victory stands as a testament to the bad taste of moviegoers and the lack of wholesome competition. The top two were followed by CAPTAIN PHILLIPS, THE COUNSELOR and CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2.   CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 is the fifth animated family movie to cross the $100 million domestic box office threshold. With Disney’s FROZEN coming out next month we can expect a solid six to cross the line in 2013.

Disney, was winning the box office average by a wide margin until it released its first LLL movie of 2013, THE FIFTH ESTATE, I bombed worse than THE LONE RANGER. Warner Bros and Sony bring up the rear in box office average with an abundance of foul language.
