A CHARLIE BROWN THANKSGIVING

"An Adorable Program with Profound Lessons"

Watch:

What You Need To Know:

You may think that the short Charlie Brown TV programs that show up every holiday season are just simple little movies, but they are so much more. Time after time, Charlie Brown delivers a message that’s much deeper than expected. A CHARLIE BROWN THANKSGIVING starts out with Peppermint Patty inviting herself over to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving. Charlie doesn’t know what to say, but Patty does all the speaking. Later, she telephones him, saying many more people want to come, including Patty’s friends Marcie and Franklin. All this overwhelms Charlie Brown, but he gets help from his friends.

Even though it’s a cute little entertainment, A CHARLIE BROWN THANKSGIVING also gives children a profound lesson about the history behind Thanksgiving. Even better, it teaches us all that we should be thankful to God for what we have. The program’s voice work and animation are just as wonderful and winsome as the positive messages. A CHARLIE BROWN THANKSGIVING is a great movie to watch with the whole family during Thanksgiving. It airs again on ABC on November 26, 2014. Check your local listings.
