Summary:
Review:
It all begins when four-legged Pongo and his master, Roger, fall in love with Anita and her dog, Perdita. Roger and Anita marry happily, and puppy love leads to a litter of 15 Dalmatian puppies for Pongo and Perdita.
When it comes time for the puppies to be sold, a wicked woman named Cruella De Vil demands all 15 puppies. Roger refuses, prompting Cruella to hire a pair of Cockney crooks to steal the puppies.
To locate the stolen pups, Roger and Anita resort to all sorts of measures, to no avail. Finally, Pongo issues a "twilight bark," a system of barking signals which locates the puppies in a deserted mansion on the outskirts of London.
To rescue the puppies, Pongo enlists the help of a cat, a horse, and Colonel, the dog. Pongo uncovers a total of 99 Dalmatians whom Cruella had gathered to make herself a rare fur coat. Safely back at Roger and Anita's house, the newlyweds ultimately decide to keep the whole bunch.
101 DALMATIANS is a delightful, heart-warming story that transcends cartoon reality. The voices of the caricatures uniquely compliment the personalities and comically resemble their impersonators. Best of all, the movie proves the premise that good does triumph over evil when good people work together. Don't miss this action-packed adventure that is fun for the whole family!
