THE CHOSEN’s Jonathan Roumie and THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA’s Liam Neeson are partnering with Christian prayer app Hallow to deliver a C.S. Lewis-based advent series this December.

Throughout the “Advent with C.S. Lewis” series, Neeson, who voiced Aslan in THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA movies, Roumie and Sr. Miriam James Heidland “will guide you in daily prayer for four weeks of Advent with reflections based on different works of Lewis, including The Four Loves, Mere Christianity, The Great Divorce, and more.”

“I’ve partnered together with Hallow for this project to help guide folks through some beautiful meditations,” Neeson told Fox News Digital. “It was an honor to journey through them with the community on the app.”

“[I will] be going through meditations largely from C.S. Lewis,” he added, saying that the series is “something I’m delighted to share with people.”

Roumie shared his excitement for the project, adding that he was thankful to work with Neeson and Heidland to bring this series to life.

“I’m incredibly excited to partner with Liam Neeson and Sr. Miriam James for Hallow’s Pray25 challenge this year,” Roumie said on Instagram. “This content is fantastic and will really impact people and help them find peace during this hectic time of year.”

The Advent series has been designed to help users realize that the deepest desires in their hearts point them to God. Along with the series led by Neeson, the Hallow app will also feature special music for the holiday season to help people get in the Christmas spirit with a heart open to Christ.

“It’s always been a dream of ours to do a challenge with C.S. Lewis’ incredible writings. They changed my own life and we’re honored to be able to pray through them this Advent,” Hallow’s CEO and co-founder, Alex Jones, told Fox News Digital.

“I couldn’t think of a more phenomenal voice to lead us through the writings than Liam’s,” he continued. “He, Jonathan and Sr. Miriam do such a beautiful job bringing them to life. We’re so excited to help people pray this Advent.”

“We believe that prayer is transformative, and we are blessed to have partners like Liam Neeson and Jonathan Roumie to help folks prepare their hearts from Jesus,” he added.

Movieguide® previously reported on Hallow:

Hallow, a prayer and meditation app created by 29-year-old Alex Jones, recently reached the 100 million prayer mark worldwide.

Jones launched the app in 2018 and said that Hallow has 3.75 million downloads. Jones added that he wanted to connect faith and technology, mimicking apps like Calm but with a prayerful purpose.

“I thought they were super helpful tools to learn meditation within the comfort of your own home,” Jones told Fox News. “Every time I would meditate, my mind would feel pulled toward something Christian. An image of the cross, or the Trinity, or the Holy Spirit, which I thought was very strange.”

“I would ask, ‘Hey, is there any way there’s some intersection here between this whole faith thing and this meditation thing?’” he added. “They all laughed at me and said, ‘Yeah, we’ve been doing it for about 2,000 years. You’ve probably heard about it. It’s called prayer.’”
