Sadie Robertson Huff Takes Social Media Break to Focus on Her Children: ‘So Thankful’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Sadie Robertson Huff recently took to Instagram to address fans’ concerns about her absence from social media over the past few months.
“I have had several people ask if I’m okay since I haven’t been on social media lately and I just want to pop in and say I’m so great,” Huff shared, thanking fans for their concern. She also posted some photos of a recent ski trip her family took.
Huff continued, “I decided back in January I’m going to take the year off from scrolling social media, and here I am about 3 months in and so grateful for a little time of stepping back!”
“I’m in a season of life that I just do not want to be distracted in!” she continued. “I’m loving this sweet time with my amazing husband, wild and fun little almost 2 year old, and feeling the kicks of my sweet girl less then 2 months away! I’ve also been working hard getting all of my work done as we prepare for our family to grow to 4 and then truly take some time off from things – which I didn’t do last time and if I have regrets that is one of them!”
She added that she’s still working with her ministry Live Original, telling followers to keep up with her on their podcast and the LO sister app Live Original.
“I’m so thankful for what has been right in front of me, and I’m taking some intentional time to really see all of it, and man, it’s been sweet,” Huff concluded. “I’ll keep popping in to post things here and there and my team is also posting for me! Love y’all and grateful for this life we get to live!”
Huff has previously taken breaks from social media. Movieguide® reported:
Sadie Robertson Huff recently took to Instagram to remind her followers about the harmful nature of social media and to encourage them to focus on what’s important.
Huff shared a Bible verse with her followers: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5), then added, “took some time off to remind myself of this^^^!!!”
Her post continued:
I just want to remind y’all of this verse that really helped me. But i also want to challenge y’all with something.
That light that shines in the darkness is Jesus. But it’s also you. It’s Jesus in YOU. I think some of us forget that.
We are waiting on Jesus to come… He did come. Now God made you for here and now. And His power is alive in you – here and now.
