What You Need To Know:

A PERFECT PAIRING follows an ambitious wine executive, Lola, who travels to Australia to land a major client. Lola’s sole purpose is to land a deal with the client and leave. However, upon arrival she runs into a ranch hand named Max. The client agrees to look at her proposal, only if she helps Max and the other workers with tasks around the ranch. Motivated to land the deal, Lola jumps into the dirty jobs with vigor. Lola also forms a bond with Max, who grows fond of Lola.

A PERFECT PAIRING is full of cliche and feel-good moments, with good chemistry between the main love interests. The production value is higher than that of tv movies, but contains the same style of comedy and romance. However, these lighthearted, silly elements are marred by a prominent LGBTQ agenda. The movie features a relationship, pregnancy and on-screen kiss between a transgender female (a biological male) and their girlfriend. Although the main love interests are Lola and Max, the movie concludes with a wedding celebrating the trans-lesbian relationship. A PERFECT PAIRING is excessive and unworthy.

More Detail:

A PERFECT PAIRING is a new romantic comedy streaming on Netflix. It follows an ambitious wine executive named Lola, who must travel to Australia to land the biggest client of her career.

The movie opens with Lola working for a hard-nosed boss. The boss is mean and drives the office with an iron fist, but Lola gets on his good side through her ability to make his clients happy.

However, when one of her co-workers steals her idea for a new client, the boss promises a promotion to Lola’s co-worker instead of Lola. Furious, Lola quits her job and decides to venture into the wine world with her own company.

Lola decides to beat her old company to the punch and go to an Australian sheep station where she knows the client’s on vacation. Lola rents an Airbnb, expecting to pitch her proposal and leave after a few days.

However, upon her arrival at the remote ranch, she meets Max, whom she assumes is one of the ranch hands. Despite Max’s best efforts to avoid the client, Lola makes a desperate attempt to get the client to read her proposal. There is one problem, though. Lola’s company is not yet licensed.

Before dismay kicks in for Lola, the client makes her a deal. If Lola fills in for a recent ranch hand who quit, she will consider her proposal. Max is tasked with training Lola on the various chores around the ranch.

Reluctantly, the two get to work. Lola is determined to get recognition from her client. However, as Max and Lola spend more time together, and Lola spends more time on the ranch, she begins to fall in love with Australia and its people.
