THE TRIP

"Traveling Toward Perversion and Blasphemy"

What You Need To Know:

THE TRIP tells the story of the homosexual civil rights movement by focusing on the relationship between two young men. When 19-year-old Tommy, a homosexual activist, and 24-year-old Alan, a Republican journalist, first meet in 1973, they find themselves on opposite sides of the political coin. Despite their differences, they form a long-term relationship. In 1977, an anti-homosexual book that Alan wrote years before gets published without his consent. Tommy, now a well-known activist, has his credibility destroyed by the book, which causes their breakup. Seven years later, Alan is given a second chance, a reunion with Tommy, and the opportunity to set things right.

THE TRIP is a low-budget agitprop movie. What Warren Beatty’s REDS did for the Communist Movement in 1981, THE TRIP does for the Homosexual Agenda. Not only is it pro-homosexual, it also contains a humanist, anti-supernatural worldview that viciously attacks religion, Bible-believing Christians, and Christianity as well as the military and the Republican Party. Thus, the movie unintentionally reveals the roots of Cultural Marxism, Atheism, and Anti-Americanism that have grabbed hold of so much of the liberal half of America’s political tapestry. It is clearly a repugnant movie.

Content:
