THE WASH

What You Need To Know:

THE WASH is a black exploitation comedy starring famous rappers Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg in a movie about two pot-smoking young men, Sean and Dee Loc. Dee Loc sets up Sean with a job interview at the car wash where Dee Loc works. The owner, Mr. Washington, played by funnyman George Wallace, is taken by Sean’s assertiveness, and appoints him manager. This causes a conflict between the two friends, because Dee Loc is a conceited, lazy slob who only cares about sex and marijuana. When a gang of thugs kidnaps Mr. Washington, the two men must work together to save their boss.

Were it not for George Wallace’s comical screen presence, THE WASH would be a completely useless comedy. As it is, the movie is full of sexual immorality, strong foul language and an inappropriate drug message. It also includes brief female nudity. THE WASH is a perfect example of why the rap music scene is not something you want your children and teenagers to follow or to duplicate. Music should enrich the lives of you and your family members, not degrade them with sex, drugs, vulgarity, and other rebellious behavior.

Content:

(PaPaPa, LLL, V, SS, NN, A, DDD, MM) Strong pagan worldview about urban dope smokers & layabouts; at least 289 mostly strong obscenities, 18 strong profanities, toilet humor, & obscene gestures; implied & depicted fornication & references to other sexual deviancies including prostitution & masturbation; upper & rear female nudity, plus upper male nudity; alcohol use; smoking, marijuana smoking & selling marijuana; and, significant miscellaneous immorality such as laziness, stealing & kidnapping.
