OVERCOMER is the heartwarming, often funny, poignant story of a young, new track star named Hannah who runs to Christ with the help of a basketball coach. OVERCOMER features a very strong Christian worldview and is filled with many touching, poignant moments.

42 tells what happens when the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team signed the first black player in the Major Leagues, Jackie Robinson, in 1947. 42 is an inspirational, superb movie showing how the Christian faith of both Dodgers General Manager Branch Rickey and Jackie Robinson helped end racism in professional baseball. However, there is a fair amount of foul language and some racial epithets, so caution is advised, especially for children.

AMAZING GRACE (2019)
AMAZING GRACE is a long-lost documentary and concert film from 1972 featuring the incomparable Aretha Franklin singing Gospel songs while supported by members of her band and the Southern California Community Choir founded by gospel music legend, the Rev. James Cleveland. The music in AMAZING GRACE is soul-stirring and filled with strong Christian content, including favorite hymns like “Mary Don’t You Weep” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and, of course, Aretha Franklin’s powerful rendition of John Newton’s classic hymn, “Amazing Grace.”

INVINCIBLE
INVINCIBLE tells an incredible, entertaining story about a regular guy from Philadelphia who tries out for the Philadelphia Eagles football team and becomes a star player. Rated PG, INVINCIBLE has a strong moral outlook, with only a few plot problems and very little foul language.

MCFARLAND, USA
MCFARLAND, USA is an inspiring sports drama starring Kevin Costner as Jim White, a coach who turns seven young Hispanic teenagers in rural California into competitive cross-country runners in 1987. MCFARLAND, USA is a terrific, moving story of perseverance, faith and sacrifice. A light caution is advised for brief foul language and some implied violence.

GOD'S NOT DEAD
GOD’S NOT DEAD is an entertaining, profound, powerful Christian movie about a college student who has to stand up for his faith when bullied by an atheist professor. Despite some of the smartest dialogue ever, GOD’S NOT DEAD entertains viewers as well as enlightens and inspires them. The ending is terrific.

LINSANITY
LINSANITY is an absorbing documentary about Jeremy Lin, a devout Asian-American Christian who captured massive media coverage by playing some miraculous basketball for the New York Knicks in 2011. The story of how Jeremy made it to the NBA is filled with great, inspiring lessons about trusting in God and pursuing God’s will with passion.

LONE SURVIVOR
LONE SURVIVOR is a gut-wrenching true story based on a failed military mission in Afghanistan where four Navy Seals are stranded and out numbered against hundreds of Taliban soldiers. LONE SURVIVOR is inspiring and gripping, with a strong moral, patriotic worldview promoting courage and sacrifice, but extreme caution is advised for abundant foul language and brutal war violence.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME
AVENGERS: ENDGAME picks up five years later where the last movie left off, with the remaining Avengers still mourning the loss of their friends at the hands of Thanos, but deciding they must find a way to go back in time and defeat Thanos once and for all. Some plot points are unresolved and some storylines are left hanging, and there’s lots of foul language, some other edgy, immoral content, and even a few tedious, annoying moments in AVENGERS: ENDGAME, but the movie has a unifying, emotionally powerful, morally uplifting main plot that extols family and fatherhood.

THE BLIND SIDE
THE BLIND SIDE is a compelling, feel great drama that tells the true story of Michael Oher, a homeless young black teenager who is welcomed into a caring Christian family. Though there are unneccessary elements requiring caution, this wonderful drama is a faith filled, truly inspiring movie with overt Christian values.
