The $100,000 Epiphany Prizes for Inspiring Movies & TV are not just for popular entertaining movies and television programs. Rather, they are for those popular, entertaining movies and television programs which are wholesome, uplifting, inspirational, redemptive, and moral.
Presented annually at the MOVIEGUIDE® Faith & Values Awards Gala and Report to the Entertainment Industry, The Epiphany Prizes were conceived by Sir John Templeton and Dr. Ted Baehr, founder and publisher of MOVIEGUIDE®: A Family Guide to Movies and entertainment, to encourage filmmakers and television producers to create movies and television shows that help increase man’s understanding and love of God.
Since 1996, through the generous support of the John Templeton Foundation, the Epiphany Prizes have been awarded annually to the key men and women, including the top studio executives, who are responsible for the best wholesome, uplifting and inspiring movies and television programs. Each year we are continually seeking out the best of movies and television programs for these prestigious awards.
