Entertainment and media may be the most powerful and influential tool for discipleship that exists today.

Consider this: If a child attends church faithfully every week for 17 years, they receive around 1,700 hours of biblical-worldview teaching. Yet that same child will have consumed a staggering 64,000 hours of entertainment, mostly filled with secular indoctrination.

Even with successful church efforts, are we allowing a significant gap in the discipleship of our children and society? Moreover, are we willing to let that void be filled with secular, anti-biblical values?

Through the Inklings Fellowship, Movieguide is paving the way for those 64,000 hours of entertainment to become an avenue for discipleship, imparting crucial biblical values, morals, and teachings about Jesus.

Movieguide is leveraging our nearly five decades of cultivated relationships in Hollywood to closely disciple, mentor, and integrate faithful young Christian professionals into the Hollywood bloodstream. Only 300 individuals are responsible for over 90% of the content brought to screens across the world. With the Movieguide Inklings Fellowship, we are successfully infiltrating these ranks with strong and compelling young people who hold strong Christian values.

In just its second year, the Movieguide Inklings Fellowship is making waves in Hollywood. With last year’s graduates seeing placements at major studios like Sony and Select Films (The Rookie and most recently, Million Miles Away) the 2023 class was even stronger. Thanks to funding from a major Foundation last year, Movieguide was able to grow the Fellowship program by 50% and raise our career placement rate from 50% to 66%.
