THE MASKED SINGER will be back next year, but this time, with a new and exciting twist!
“For the FIRST TIME in #themaskedsinger history, you’re the first to know WHO is behind a mask! 😱 🤫 I’m #TMSInsider and Season 14 is about to be unlike any other,” DESCENDANTS actress and singer Kylie Cantrall posted on Instagram.

Cantrall will “serve as the show’s first-ever holder of the America’s Insider title,” People reported. “A twist that essentially means viewers will be aware of her participation on the show well before anyone on the panel.”
“Of course, getting to sing every night and spend time with my on-screen mom, Rita Ora, would have been enough,” Cantrall told the outlet. “But the fact that I get to be America’s Insider for the first time in MASKED SINGER history? I was like, ‘Sign me up!’”
Cantrall and Ora previously starred together in DISNEY’S DESCENDANTS: THE RISE OF RED, and are set to appear in 2026’s DESCENDANTS: WICKED WONDERLAND.
“It was so surreal getting to work with her,” Cantrall told People of working with pop star Ora. “I mean, she’s this pop-star boss woman, so I think she was able to bring that aura to the Queen of Hearts character.”
Cantrall’s role as America’s Insider isn’t the only fun in store for the upcoming season of THE MASKED SINGER.
“Season 14 takes its beloved themed episodes to new heights, celebrating some of the most recognizable and nostalgic moments in pop culture history,” a statement from Fox announced.
The new episodes will feature theme nights centered on STAR TREK, CLUELESS, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, THE TWILIGHT SAGA, and girl group The Spice Girls.
“Adding to the excitement, the competition will take a daring turn with ‘Fear Night,’ featuring none other than FEAR FACTOR: HOUSE OF FEAR host Johnny Knoxville, who joins as a special guest to deliver clues — and a few creepy crawlies — in true MASKED SINGER style,” the statement continued.
The press release concluded, “This season promises to be bigger, bolder, and more unpredictable than ever, as 18 brand-new costumes hit the stage — each bringing their own flair, mystery, and vocal power. This season boasts the most decorated contestants in the show’s history, and an unprecedented unmasking that will send shockwaves through the competition!”
Host Nick Cannon and panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Rita Ora are all set to return to THE MASKED SINGER.
Season 14 of THE MASKED SINGER premieres January 7, 2026.
