CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER tells the origin of Marvel’s first super-hero and the beginnings of his battles against Red Skull, the ruthless head of a rogue Nazi outfit trying to take over the world. Despite some foul language, CAPTAIN AMERICA delivers an inspiring, exciting patriotic punch with a lot of heart.
THE INCREDIBLES is another incredible animated movie from Pixar and Disney, about two retired superhero parents who must battle a villain targeting their family. Beautifully animated, THE INCREDIBLES is full of exciting energy, fantastic fun, and humorous hilarity, with a very strong redemptive, Christian worldview full of many positive moral messages.

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE is an animated comic book adventure where different incarnations of Spider-Man from other dimensions, including two females and a talking pig, team together to stop a ruthless crime boss from destroying reality by using a gigantic machine to bring back his dead wife and son. Playful and lively, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE is an exciting, funny movie with lots of action, heart, and faith, but there’s plenty of intense action violence, so caution is advised for children.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS introduces Reed Richards, his wife, Sue Storm, Sue’s brother, Johnny Storm, and their close friend, Ben Grimm, in an exciting story where the four superheroes must defend Earth from a ravenous cosmic being from outer space called Galactus and his enigmatic messenger, the Silver Surfer. THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS is a wonderful, crowd-pleasing, moving science fiction adventure, with a strong moral, redemptive, patriotic worldview celebrating life, love, family, sacrifice, and community, but the movie has lots of action violence, a scary villain and much peril involving an infant, so caution is advised for older pre-teenage children.

MAN OF STEEL brings Superman back, in a big way, in a story that pits Superman against General Zod, who wants to destroy the human race so that Earth can become a new home for the Krypton race. Super-smart and super-cool, MAN OF STEEL delivers a powerful, redemptive, heroic story with Christian content in a key scene. However, it has some foul language and intense action violence, so caution is advised.
