ROBOTS is full of great dialogue, good pacing and wise moments of emotional release.
+3Some minor questionable elements. (Media-wisdom is suggested to discuss.)
SWITCHED is an uplifting movie that follows two teenage girls as they mysteriously switch bodies one day and must learn how to walk in each other’s shoes. Available on Video on Demand, SWITCHED has a very strong Christian, moral worldview where characters discuss biblical principles and repent of poor behavior, with no objectionable content.
+1Moderately questionable elements. (Discernment required for young children.)
In DESPICABLE ME 4, Gru must hide his family from a new villain who’s escaped prison, but a young teenage girl living in their new neighborhood blackmails him, which results in exposing Gru’s family and endangering Gru’s infant son. DESPICABLE ME 4 is often hilarious, with a strong moral, pro-family worldview, but much of the humor focuses on the comical slapstick chaos of the minions, so MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution for younger children.
THE BOSS BABY: FAMILY BUSINESS is an animated comedy that follows a family who must stop an evil teacher from taking authority away from all parents. THE BOSS BABY: FAMILY BUSINESS is a delightful, hilarious movie for the whole family, with a strong Christian, moral, pro-family worldview that’s pro-life.
-1Caution advised for older children, including teenagers, and sensitive adults.
In SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE, Miles Morales runs into a society of Spider-Men or Spider-People protecting the multiverse from threats, but when they clash on how to handle a new supervillain, Miles faces a moral dilemma that affects the people he loves the most. SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE is a creative, exciting, funny superhero movie with a strong, heartfelt pro-family worldview that also promotes doing the right thing, but there’s lots of animated action violence and some brief foul language, so caution is advised for older children.
+4Biblical, usually Christian, worldview, with no questionable elements whatsoever.
