HOME TOWN TAKEOVER CANADA will feature new hosts: Canadian RENOVATION ISLAND pros Bryan and Sarah Baeumler.
“Small towns in Canada are gonna be inspired, they have a bright new future, and who knows what town’s gonna get chosen?” HOME TOWN’s Erin Napier previously teased.
“We’ve got just three months to completely transform a small Canadian town and bring it back to life,” Sarah explained in an Instagram clip.
Bryan added, “That’s a lot of work, and this might be one of our biggest challenges yet.”
The duo is on a mission to keep a small Canadian town’s “heart beating.” Bryan teased the show will feature some special guest.
Fans eagerly jumped in the comments.
“I’m so excited to see this new show, In Canada with you both!!! Welcome Back Home for your next exciting adventure,” one person wrote.
Someone else said, “Omg that’s sooooo cool. what a great idea. can’t wait to watch. you guys are the best.”

The Napiers hosted both of their other TAKEOVER spinoffs. The cause for the new hosts is due to legal reasons, TV Insider reported.
“Our production company is Canadian…” Erin said last year. “But, because we are Americans, we are not legally allowed to host the show. We can only be in it as, like, guest stars.”
Her husband Ben Napier added, “Yeah, a Canadian broadcast show has to be hosted by Canadian talent. 90%; I think 90 was the number. I thought it was just a majority.”
Erin shared she was excited to go to Canada, as she has never visited.
“It would be magical, in the summer especially,” Erin said.
Ben said of the new hosts at the time, “We know who it is, and I can say that we really like them. It’s another husband and wife team.”
The Baeumlers are grateful for the opportunity to transform the small town.

Their other new projects include BAEUMLER RANCH and SARAH BAEUMLER BY DESIGN.
HOME TOWN TAKEOVER CANADA will premiere on HGTV this fall.
