Fox News Is YouTube’s Most-Watched News Outlet—Here’s Why

Fox News dominates all other news outlets on YouTube as the conservative-leaning outlet outperformed competitors in viewership for the month of May.

The channel amassed an impressive 338.8 million video views, over three-times the amount of other networks, last month.

“Fox News beat No. 2 MS NOW by over 100 million views, as the progressive cable outlet finished with 212.8 million. Fox News has been No. 1 among competitive news brands on YouTube with video views every month in 2026,” Fox reported.

The network added, “CNN managed 154.1 million video views, while broadcast outlets ABC News (105.7 million), NBC News (82.4 million) and CBS News (37.6 million) fell far behind, with Fox News outdrawing the three combined.”

The channel has over 15.4 million subscribers on YouTube, as well as successful engagement on other platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok.

The Desk reported that collectively, Fox News scored “1.3 billion social video views during the month.”

“We’re meeting audiences where they are, across platforms, across generations, wherever and however they consume news,” Fox News’ SPECIAL REPORT anchor Bret Baier said of the network’s success, adding, “Online, Fox News is [the] No. 1 publisher for time spent, averaging 143 million monthly unique visitors. So, to put it simply, more people spend time getting their news on FoxNews.com than anywhere else.”

Fox News pulled 4.5 billion views on YouTube last year.

It makes sense why Fox would stand above the rest. Overall, they focus on family values and honor America.

“Fox News, the cable channel Rupert Murdoch launched in 1996, holds a unique place in the American media landscape, particularly for those on the ideological right. While Democrats in the United States turn to and trust a variety of news sources, none come close to matching the appeal of Fox News for Republicans,” Pew Research found.

Pew Research also noted that in 2024, “Fox News was the most common outlet that Americans named as their main source for political news.” This supports the immense number of views Fox News sees across media.

In a post to Instagram, Baier announced that the network will celebrate America as we approach Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of our country.
