TOY STORY 5 debuts in theaters this month, and cinemas are hyping up audiences for the next installment of the now classic franchise.

“The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s TOY STORY 5, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they’re introduced to what kids are obsessed with today….electronics!” the synopsis reads.

This new movie comes seven years TOY STORY 4 and nearly 31 years after the original TOY STORY, so theaters are playing on fan nostalgia and releasing some fitting collectables to enhance the experience for moviegoers.

Regal Cinemas will offer a Buzz-Lightyear collectible popcorn and drink container.

On Instagram, they said it “features retractable wings and dome helmet lid and lights up. Plus, your purchase of the container comes with a large popcorn and soda. Get yours when you see TOY STORY 5 at Regal starting June 19.”

The theater chain will also offer a special TOY STORY themed Snack Pack Combo that includes a 16 ounce drink, popcorn, a Welch’s Fruit Snack packet and a character topper of your choice.

While Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) are certainly central to TOY STORY 5, cowgirl Jessie rides as one of the movie’s main protagonists, more so than in previous movies. To celebrate the special moment, Joan Cusack, who voices Jessie, made an appearance at the London red carpet premiere, her first in 11 years.

Along with Cusack, Hanks and Allen, the cast includes Greta Lee, Conan O’Brien, Scarlett Spears, Shelby Rabara, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Craig Robinson, Bonnie Hunt, Lori Alan, Jay Hernandez and John Hopkins.

“I know every parent in the United States worries about their kids,” Cusack said of the movie’s tech themes. “When do you get them involved in tech? What does that do to their brains?” she says. “And that’s what this movie’s about. It’s about humanity and playing and loyalty — and it makes me cry.”

Movieguide®’s +2 review of the most recent installment, TOY STORY 4, praised its “incredible pro-family, pro-redemption, pro-self-sacrifice messages.”

“The importance of toys taking care of children is stressed constantly, but there’s also the importance of maturing and finding real love with good positive, male/female monogamous relationships being the end result,” it reads, adding, “Every character has a great character arc, with a couple characters experiencing an epiphany and being truly transformed. It would be hard to find a better story. TOY STORY 4 will capture your heart. However, there are some pretty scary scenes. So, please be careful about your child’s sensitivity when deciding if TOY STORY 4 is appropriate for them.”

TOY STORY 5 debuts in theaters June 19.
