Gary Sinise’s late son, Mac, is still making an impact in this world as his dad releases a third album of his music.

“Mac Sinise Resurrection & Revival PART THREE is in our hands! Watching the records being pressed was emotional and wonderful. Lots of great music coming. We Start Shipping Next Week! Preorder your copy today at the link in my bio,” Sinise posted on Instagram.

The triple vinyl album features original music by Mac. It’s executive produced by Sinise along with Oliver Schnee, who also arranged and orchestrated Part Three. It includes performances by Mac and members of the Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band.

Every dollar raised from the album will go directly to the Gary Sinise Foundation, “just as Mac wanted.”

Mac died on Jan. 5, 2024, from a type of cancer called Chordoma, a “rare bone tumor that forms in your spine or skull base. All subtypes of chordoma are considered cancerous (malignant),” according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Sinise previously released some of Mac’s music in Resurrection & Revival: Part One and Part Two. He later found another file he hadn’t seen before titled “Southern Grind.”

“A bluesy southern rock track that completely surprised me. As I kept digging through Mac’s recordings, emails and journals, I realized it wasn’t the only hidden piece of music. There were piano ideas he had tucked away, melodies recorded into his phone, pages of lyrics and unfinished songs waiting to be brought to life,” Sinise shared on his foundation’s website.

Shortly after that discovery, Mac’s friends and several other collaborators were brought in to finish Part 3, 31 compositions across three discs. Within the album cover, Sinise shared “intimate stories behind the making of each song — a father’s journey to connect with his late son.”

“I miss Mac more than I could ever express. But finding more of his music has been a true gift, and it’s meant a lot to bring these songs into the world,” Sinise concluded.

Sinise will share more of his son’s story in the upcoming memoir Graceful Warrior.

“I felt like I was a bit of a battle buddy during this difficult time, trying to find as much strength and courage myself, as I saw that so much in our son,” he told PEOPLE of the writing process. “So I really believe that, by sharing our story in this book, others who may be going through something difficult in their own lives may find hope and strength to help carry them through.”

Resurrection & Revival: Part Three is available for pre-order.
