Parenting influencers Micah and Sarah Wallace are expecting Baby No. 2.
“[I] just had an inclination,” Sarah told PEOPLE of her pregnancy, sharing that she took a pregnancy test that ended up being negative. However, after finding out the test had expired, she tried again — and it was positive.
She continued, “I was happy, because when I got the negative one, I was disappointed, because we were hoping for it.”
“I don’t know why, but I was more emotional for this one than I was for [their son Shelton],” Micah added. “It was really special, and so we’re excited.”
The couple shared that they’re looking forward to seeing how Shelton, 1, responds to becoming a big brother.

“I think he’s really good with kids,” Micah said. “Whenever he is around kids and spends time, he is always very gentle and just kind, and so I hope that stays true. I think that’s what I’m most excited about, just to see that.”
Sarah added, “I would agree, [and also] just learning what the dynamic of two kids feels like. I’m excited to just see him with the baby.”
The couple rose to fame online for their videos about entertaining their son and have shared many of the parenting lessons they’ve learned along the way.
“I looked to social media for so much [about parenting] because it has come to be a place where I can see other people’s experiences,” Sarah told Motherly. “It is nice to hear a few different experiences as you are going into something you have never done before. Our goal with what we share is to give people the sense that we are all in this together. We may be very different people living very different lives, but we also have so much in common.”
Micah explained, “Social media was never on our radar. It was never the plan,” adding that the COVID-19 pandemic led to them making funny videos for social media.
“We never had explosive growth. We just were consistent. We’ve posted every single day, I think, pretty much since then. And now we have gotten to a good place now where we’ve gone back to focusing on quality versus quantity,” he continued. “And we’ve been doing it full time and it’s such a huge blessing to be able to do something that we love. It’s been very, very cool.”
In an interview with New York Family, the couple shared their hopes for what viewers get out of their content.
“Our hope is that other parents know that we are all in this together and feel encouraged by that,” Sarah said, with Micah adding, “Our goal has always been to bring joy to people…the messages we get about being the bright spot in someone’s hard season or that they had a really hard day, but they came upon our content, and it made them laugh…those messages mean so much to us!”
Fans of the Wallaces are excited to go along on this pregnancy journey with the influencer couple.
