Natasha Perry, actress Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter, can’t help but thank God for His blessings in her life.
“Did you imagine your life to be what it is now five years ago?” someone asked Perry in an Instagram story Q&A.
“Yes and no!” she responded. “I think I’ve always had hopes and dreams for what my future would look like, but in total honesty, maybe a part of me didn’t know if it would ever happen?? Not in a pessimistic way — I think I just truly couldn’t see through certain seasons of life and didn’t know how I’d get past them.”
“God is so so good. That’s all l have to say,” she continued. “He has exceeded every expectation I’ve had, blessed me with things and people that I didn’t even know I needed or wanted and restored a true peace in my heart.”
“That doesn’t mean there aren’t areas of my life that I thought would look different, but I’m truly so content in knowing that it’s all in His hands,” Perry added. “I feel really grateful for this chapter and it makes me want to give my younger self (especially 5 years ago) a really big hug.”
Perry and her husband, GOOD LUCK CHARLIE alum Bradley Steven Perry, revealed last month that they are expecting their first child.
“Our dream role 🐣” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post, which included photos from a maternity shoot.

The Perrys found out they were pregnant in the most unexpected way.
“On a flight home from a sweet trip with friends, Bradley and I had officially decided we were ready and open to the idea of for trying for a baby without any expectations or a timeline in mind!” Natasha shared. “We had zero clue how long it would take and just figured that hopefully at some point in the future we would become a family of 3!”
“According to my cycle tracking app, I was already a full week past my ovulation day so we figured the following month would be our first real try,” she continued. “A few days later, I had ordered some ovulation test strips to use in the coming weeks. The day they arrived, I used one out of curiosity to see how the testing worked. Turns out, my app was wrong, and I had ovulated a full week late.”
Natasha saw the result and instantly had a feeling that she was pregnant.
“I truly cannot explain it. As the week went on, I continued to have the same feeling (no symptoms at all, but I just felt it in my heart),” she said. “I had started taking early response pregnancy tests once I knew my period was supposed to be close to starting.”
“Before a family Sunday dinner, I had gone to take the only test I had left in the bathroom (and didn’t tell B),” she continued. “I think I stared so hard at the paper test that I convinced myself there was the faintest line ever…so I went out and showed Bradley. He said he maybe saw a tiny something??? But most likely we were just imagining it. He told me that for my peace of mind, he would run to grab a digital test quickly before we left for dinner.”
“B kept repeating that he was 100% sure we weren’t pregnant so we should take it super quickly and get on the road to meet the family. You can tell how utterly shocked we were to see the words ‘pregnant,'” Natasha added. “Never in a million years did we think it would ever happen on the first try (and not even really an intentional try). The emotions were utterly overwhelming and I am still in awe of it all. We are already so blessed by this baby and our hearts are pouring out an insane amount of love.”
Natasha and Bradley are sure to be wonderful parents.
