YouTuber Joe Weller found faith after hitting “rock bottom.”

“Hey, I just want to say that I have been saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, and it is the best thing that has ever happened to me,” the British social media star said in a recent video. “Never, never did I think I’d be saying those words.”

Weller continued, “I have tried everything, everything to try and feel genuinely fulfilled and at peace. Spirituality, diet, travel, here, there, everywhere, work, fame, money. I have tried everything that seems like it could work for me.”

He explained that God “never gave up when I was at rock bottom, and He was the only place left to turn.”

“He has genuinely transformed me. He has renewed my mind. He is the truth, the way, the life that we are all searching for, and I’m just so thankful and grateful that he never gave up on me,” Weller said.

In another video posted to Instagram, Weller, who has more than 5.3 million YouTube subscribers and 2.2 million Instagram followers, encouraged his followers to seek out Christ.

“Whatever it is that you’re battling, absolutely, there is a way out, and it is found in turning to Jesus Christ,” he said. “And if you don’t know how to pray, if you don’t know where to start, just start by asking Him to reveal himself to you.”

Weller continued, “Come home. Turn away from the enemy, turn away from all the things that you know don’t really serve you.”

“It’s not about coming perfectly,” he said. “He requires mercy, not sacrifice. Come as you are. Turn to Him exactly as you are.”

In a third video, Weller addressed some of the comments on his previous video, where he got visibly emotional.

“Those tears, they are from a place of utter deep joy, but also pain,” he explained, adding, “I’d love to just shake everyone and be like, ‘This is what you’re looking for.’”

Weller said he is “trusting the process,” and looking forward to sharing more of his spiritual journey with his online following.

Other high-profile internet personalities said they’re turning to Christ, too.

“We’re going to church every Sunday,” streamer and professional gamer Tyler Blevins, also known as “Ninja,” said, referring to himself and his wife, Jessica. “Jess and I are going through this journey, where, you know, our relationship with God and Jesus.”

Weller’s recent videos are a moving example of God’s power in our lives and an inspiration to anyone who might also be feeling lost or at “rock bottom.”
