We’ve got exciting news for GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE fans. A new competition series will arrive on Netflix later this year with actress Laila Lockhart Kraner hosting as Gabby.
“Since GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE first premiered on Netflix in 2021, a world of creativity and imagination has exploded for our young audience and it only continues to grow,” said GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE creators Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige Johnson. “We’ve been so lucky to continue playing and creating in the Dollhouse, with a fourteenth season coming to Netflix, and now a competition series that brings play to life in a new way.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the untitled show will see “young baker-and-maker duos do (friendly) battle in whimsical baking and crafting challenges inspired by the preschool series.”
The show will feature four holiday-themed episodes, arriving later this year. New episodes will continue into 2027.
It comes from DreamWorks Animation and B17 Entertainment and is executive produced by Rhett Bachner and Brien Meagher.
A casting call went out last month, seeking “creative kids for new TV series” and “teams or 2 kids ages 9-15 who love all things crafting, baking, assembling, molding and more!”

Season 14 of GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE debuts on Sept. 14, 2026.
GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE first aired in 2021 on Netflix and quickly became a hit preschool series.
The subsequent GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE: THE MOVIE released in 2025. Movieguide®’s review reads, “GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE: THE MOVIE is a funny, colorful, fantastic adventure for the whole family. It’s well-made and engaging, with lots of fun adventures. The movie brings joy and heart to the big screen.”
Movieguide® notes, “GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE: THE MOVIE has a strong moral, pro-family worldview. It promotes play, imagination, showing respect, and doing the right thing. GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE is very wholesome. It’s a delightful movie the whole family can enjoy.”
So far the GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE franchise has been a safe watch with no majorly questionable elements.
“I think my favorite part of being Gabby is her positivity and just getting to play with my friends and show other kids and the GabbyCats how to have fun and think creatively,” Kraner told Movieguide® previously of why she loves her role.
GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE is a reminder that safe children’s content always succeeds. The series won the 2025 and 2026 Kidscreen Awards, among multiple other nominations. With its mix of creativity, crafts, baking and imagination, this next addition to the GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE franchise is sure to keep inspiring young creatives.
