
Robert Baehr serves as Co-CEO of Movieguide®, where he has established himself as a dynamic leader in faith-based entertainment and media. Under his leadership, Movieguide® has expanded its digital presence and strengthened its position as the premier destination for family entertainment guidance.
Drawing from his diverse background in both finance and entertainment, Robert has spearheaded several key initiatives that have transformed Movieguide®’s reach and impact. His accomplishments include developing a top 50 iPhone app, establishing Movieguide®’s website as the market leader in its segment, and creating a successful nationally syndicated radio program. As executive producer of the annual Movieguide® Awards, he has helped bring faith and family entertainment recognition to a national television audience.
Before joining Movieguide®, Robert built a strong foundation in financial services at HSBC, where he worked in investment banking and mergers & acquisitions. His entertainment industry experience includes working with Motive Marketing on major productions such as “The Passion of the Christ” and “Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.” He also contributed to marketing campaigns at Disney National Promotions Group, working on films including “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Enchanted,” and “Underdog.”
As an entrepreneur, Robert successfully launched and operated a prominent social network, which he sold in 2009. He has also collaborated with Urban Ministries, Inc. on special projects at the executive level.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wheaton College (2008) and has pursued additional studies at both the Chinese University in Hong Kong and Oxford University in England. His unique combination of business acumen, entertainment industry experience, and international education continues to drive Movieguide®’s mission of promoting positive, uplifting entertainment for families worldwide.
