More Detail:

In RICH IN LOVE, a mixed-up housewife abandons her husband and 17-year-old daughter, Lucille, causing them to go through denial and eventually depression. Then, Lucille’s older sister, Rae, comes home pregnant with her new Yankee husband, Billy. Meanwhile, Dad commits adultery with a hairdresser. She finds him remarkably attractive, despite the fact that he’s been padding around the house in his pajamas, unshaven and unwashed, worrying about his abandoned wife for the past month. Also promiscuous is Lucille, who spends the night with her high school sweetheart on the lake. Her pregnant sister, Rae, guzzles whiskey, chain smokes and considers having an abortion. With the family in disarray, Rae decides against an abortion and carries her baby to term. However, everything changes when Mom pops unexpectedly to welcome her new grandchild.

Ironically, the title refers to the family’s wealth found in one another. A season of change reveals them to be RICH IN LOVE, compassion and humor. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Their promiscuity, disrespect for marriage, and lack of integrity proves they are quite poor, blind and naked.
