More Detail:
As December begins, each of the families continue to prepare for the holiday season. There are more presents to be bought, decorations to be set up, time to be spent with loved ones. Yet, in all the busyness of the season, neither Kim nor Theo can stop thinking about the other. They try showing up at all the Christmas tradition spots they told each other about in order to possibly find each other, without even knowing their last names.
Kim tries the place where Theo volunteers, the gingerbread house competition, and even the restaurant where they ate together the night they met. Theo brings his daughter to the theater show Kim watches every year, the stand where they bought ornaments on Black Friday, and the Santa send-off in the village. As both families spend quality time together, making new holiday traditions and keeping old ones, Kim and Theo continue to miss each other by the slightest circumstance.
Relationship drama is added to the holiday chaos when Kim’s ex-boyfriend decides to show up, wanting to get back together. At the same exact time, Theo’s brother is trying to set him up with his wife’s sister. Everyone in their lives is pushing hard for Kim and Theo to be with the individuals pursuing them, but Kim and Theo can’t stop thinking about each other and holding out hope to meet again.
As December flies by, the chances of Kim and Theo finding each other continually diminish. Kim’s ex and Theo’s lady are pursuing them with all they’ve got.
Will the two ever find each other without even knowing last names? Or, will they give up hope and settle for what’s in front of them?
