Just a few days before Warner Bros. holds their comic-con panel for the upcoming DC Comics movie BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, Deadline reports that Ben Affleck is in talks to both co-write and direct an upcoming Batman solo movie. He also stars as the cape crusader in BATMAN V. SUPERMAN and next years SUICIDE SQUAD.
Comic book writer Geoff Johns is listed as the co-writer and the outlet that reported the news stated the the movie’s plot would “reflect the Batman character” after his appearances in the other DC movies.
This news comes after Warner Bros. green-lit Ben Affleck’s next directorial project LIVE BY NIGHT which just entered pre-production and is expected next year.
