In an interview with People Magazine, Jeannie Gaffigan, wife of the popular comedian Jim Gaffigan, revealed that a six-centimeter brain tumor last month completely changed her life.
After a nine-hour surgery, surgeons successfully removed the tumor. Jeannie Gaffigan called the process a miracle, stating, “There’s just going to be so much to come out of this for me”. The 47-year-old said that her faith in God has been “completely strengthened”, “Because I told God, I said, ‘God, I’m not ready to go. I have work to do. Please help me.”
Jim Gaffigan also called it a miracle. The comedian frequently discusses his wife and 5 children, as well as spiritually in his comedy routine.
