Shari Rigby Shares Her ‘Monday Vibes’: ‘God is Doing a New Thing!’

OCTOBER BABY actress and DIVINE INFLUENCER director Shari Rigby recently shared what “most days” look like—and they’re not all smiles.
“Monday vibes! Unfiltered and coming off a few laser treatments,” she shared in a photo of herself wincing. “Seems like we’re always sharing the pretty perfect pictures but the fact is most days look like this 😂 Since I took this picture my face has shed about 3 layers…. And so has my mood since the beginning of 2024! 🙏🏻”
Rigby compared her experience to how God makes good come out of times of pain or trials.
“God is doing a new thing and sometimes it’s painful!” she continued. “Shedding is good and once we’ve gone through the process, we will shine!”
She followed up the post with a short video about how she recently developed a more peaceful life. In December, she started to keep her phone on “Do not disturb” 24/7.
“I have found so much more peace,” she shared. “I am so distracted by the phone, text messages throughout the day. Not only am I getting emails and texts on my computer, but I get them on my phone. I think it’s just better, and it’s really given me so much more peace. A good thing.”
Rigby previously shared about peace on Instagram:

Life continues to move whether we are ready or not, and in today’s culture the only way to stay the course, is to pray. The key 🔑 is to pray, starting from a thankful position.
I do not understand all the things that God is doing in my life, nor my families, but what I do know, is that his plan, his provision, and his purpose for my life is in his hand!!
I will trust HIM! He is my peace🙌🏻

Rigby acted in OVERCOMER, which won the 2019 Movieguide® Epiphany Prize® for Most Inspiring Movie. And she recently directed DIVINE INFLUENCER, which just came out last month.
