Forrest Frank Says His Hit Song Helped Him ‘Through The Hardest Trial Of My Life’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Christian artist Forrest Frank’s hit song “Good Day” is helping thousands of people through dark times — including Frank himself.
“Three days after that song came out, I went through the hardest trial of my life,” the singer said in an interview with The Christian Post. “It was really interesting that God would give me a song that says, ‘I’m about to have a good day no matter what trial is going on,’ and then I had the hardest trial of my life … someone wronged me and stole something from me that I was never going to get back.”
He explained that he now “had to put my words into action.”
“The Bible says to ‘cast your anxieties on the Lord and through prayer and thanksgiving, and peace which surpasses all knowledge will guard our hearts,’” Frank continued. “I got to witness that firsthand as I went through the hardest day of my life. I just released that baggage to Jesus, and now I’m having a good day. He doesn’t promise us a good day, but He promises us peace when we surrender to Him.”
Frank has been in the music industry since 2017, originally appearing in the pop duo Surfaces. He later transitioned to Christian music and has found major success. Last year, Frank was awarded Billboard’s Top New Christian Artist award.
“Really just beyond stoked for what Gods doing right now. i feel a cultural shift taking place. y’all feel it too?” he wrote in an Instagram post celebrating his album, CHILD OF GOD, going #1 on iTunes.

Frank continued, “It’s borderline hilarious that He would use someone like me to do this work…but I guess He does love to use the least qualified. or maybe it’s the prayers & generational blessings, idk…but i don’t deserve this. i’m just out here doing what i love and He keeps providing. thank you for listening and sharing and supporting. let’s do this forever.”
“I think that God perfectly orchestrated my career to set me up to be where I’m at right now,” he shared in an interview with ChurchLeaders. “Where He actually gave me a very successful song earlier in my career, and I actually I got to feel it. I got to let it kind of puff me up a little bit.”
He continued, “Later in that career, we started turning down offers, started saying no to stuff, and I started to actually run away from the success and run away from it all,” Frank continued. “And in the peace and quiet of that, then this success came. And so now I just stay ground level. This entire time, I’ve stayed ground level. All glory to Jesus. And so anything up it’s just all to Him.”
Movieguide® previously reported on Frank’s career:
Up-and-coming artist Forrest Frank has taken TikTok by storm and is making an impact on the music industry for Christ.
Aside from his “viral TikTok tracks [which] are as beloved as his radio singles, [Frank] is encouraging his fans to boldly stand up for Jesus,” Crosswalk Headlines reported.
“Frank has garnered more than 4 million followers across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok,” the outlet continued, “driven by his feel-good tracks like ‘Up’ and ‘Good Day,’ which are frequently featured as background music in TikTok and other social media videos.”
Frank explained why he encourages his fans to openly proclaim their faith.
“You don’t know if Jesus is coming back tomorrow. It says He’s coming back like a thief in the night,” he said. “So don’t wait till tomorrow because, in 10 minutes, Jesus could come back.”
Christians often hold back from “shining the light of Jesus until later, and that just means you’re stalling. Start now,” Frank emphasized.
