Erin Napier decided not to care about signs of aging ahead of her 40th birthday on Aug. 30.
“Y’all, are we out here caring about forehead wrinkles? I’m turning 40 this month, and I think…we should all decide we don’t care,” Napier said in an Instagram story with a foundation-free selfie this month.
CHRISTINA ON THE COAST star Christian Haack previously said in 2023 that she was “excited for this decade” and that she felt “full of life.” Unlike Napier, though, she does care about wrinkles.
“Nothing a little Botox can’t fix,” she said.
Erin’s husband, Ben, is notorious for his sweet gestures, whether it’s a special occasion or not. And Erin is likely in for a sweet surprise on her birthday.
On her 38th birthday, Ben “snuck out” of the house at 5 a.m. to surprise her with pastries from a local bakery before she woke up. Erin later shared a photo of Ben posing with the pastry boxes and said, “I am the luckiest.”
On Ben’s 40th birthday, Erin shared photos of him posing with her dad. The two held a shared birthday cake.
“Lordy lordy, Big Ben is 40! He and my daddy both had milestone birthdays this week!” Erin told Ben, “I want to be like you, @scotsman.co: never looking back or feeling sad about our youth getting further away, but always feeling so grateful for right now.”
“You’ve worked so hard this year to rehab your shoulder and transformed yourself in the process,” she continued. “The girls and I are so thankful for you,” Erin said of their daughters. “Here’s to 50 more birthdays together. I love you!”
Last month, Erin made a post about relishing the summer with her two young daughters, Helen and Mae.

“How do we stop the clock so school never starts back? anyone else soaking up this time with your kids like raisin bran in whole milk? 😍” she wrote alongside photos of the girls barefoot, jumping on a trampoline and going for a walk in the countryside.
The Napiers recently announced a new HOME TOWN show that’s looking outside the country for its next destination. The couple went to Florida for their last takeover, but now they look to transform a small town way up north in HOME TOWN TAKEOVER CANADA. They have not yet announced which town it will be but are slated to begin production on the new show next year.
