Legendary TV Host Says Only Jesus Can End Suffering

By Movieguide® Contributor

Kathie Lee Gifford knows that Jesus is coming back soon.

In a tearful discussion with TBN, the former TV show host shared why she believes that our Savior is returning sooner than we think.

“Every season, believers have said ‘Jesus is coming soon.’ But now we’re getting stories of people all over the world receiving visitations from Jesus that say, ‘I am coming sooner than you think, I am coming.’ And He’s only tarrying so that more people can be saved,” she said as she began to choke up.

“And, you know, it’s hard to watch the suffering in the world and not wonder why He doesn’t come. And it’s hard. God doesn’t want anybody to suffer. But we do cruel and unbelievably heinous things to one another. And those of us who believe in the goodness, and justice, and mercy of God say ‘Why Lord? Why are you waiting?’” she continued.

“And He’ll say, ‘Because I love them too, and I have a plan…it may not be when you think it’s going to come, but it’s going to come.’ And Jesus will set his feet on that beautiful Mount of Olives right where He left off from. And all things will be made right, and there will be no more tears, and there will be no more suffering. His promises are true,” Gifford concluded.

Gifford’s right. Reports from around the world reveal that Jesus is visiting people and asking them to turn to Him.

“Numerous Muslim men in Gaza came to Christianity in recent days after seeing Jesus in their dreams in what is being described as a ‘miracle,’ according to a new report from underground Christians in the region,” Crosswalk reported. “The report was first posted online by author and Christian apologist Michael Licona, who said, ‘God is working in the midst of war.'”

Although no one can know when Jesus will return, we should be ready. Matthew 24:42 tells us, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” Just as Gifford encouraged, we should look forward to the day when Jesus will remove all suffering from this world, and in the meantime, we need to share His good news with others.
