3 WHEN CALLS THE HEART Stars Welcomed Babies in the Last Three Months

Hope Valley’s real-life baby boom is officially complete.

“It was such a surprise to learn that we were all pregnant at the same time and due within six weeks of each other,” WHEN CALLS THE HEART lead actress Erin Krakow told Scary Mommy. “It has been so nice to be able to lean on one another and ask questions. Is this normal? How are you preparing for this? Did you find a stroller? It feels pretty comparable to the way we handle life in Hope Valley.”

Three couples from the beloved Hallmark Channel series have welcomed babies this spring and summer — capping off a remarkable stretch that began in November 2025, when all three announced their pregnancies within weeks of each other.

Krakow and her co-star husband, actor Ben Rosenbaum, were first. The couple — who play Elizabeth Thornton and Mike Hickam, respectively, on Hallmark Channel’s longest-running original series — welcomed a baby girl in early April 2026. They announced the news exclusively to PEOPLE magazine on June 23, nearly a year after quietly tying the knot in June 2025. The baby’s name has not been released.

“Our daughter has been the greatest gift, and we are loving getting to know her better with each passing day,” the couple told PEOPLE.

Krakow joked that the pregnancy nearly gave itself away on set. “I just wanted pickles on everything,” she told Scary Mommy. “Crafty was starting to wonder, I heard, after the fact. They were like, ‘She is asking for extra pickles every time she gets a sandwich; is there something that we should be aware of?’”

For his part, Rosenbaum had fans grinning on Valentine’s Day, posting a photo of himself crammed into a baby carrier with the caption: “Guys, she said she’ll be my Valentine.”

WHEN CALLS THE HEART and LANDMAN actress Kayla Wallace and co-star Kevin McGarry followed next. The pair announced their pregnancy on Nov. 11, 2025, and broke the news of their baby’s arrival with a Mother’s Day post on May 10, 2026. Wallace’s caption stopped more than a few scrollers in their tracks.

“Mother. The newest part of me that became the best part of me the second we met,” Wallace wrote. “Motherhood has been the greatest joy of my life.” The couple — both series regulars on WHEN CALLS THE HEART — chose to keep the baby’s name, gender and birthdate private.

A later update had fans smiling, too — McGarry sharing that he and Wallace were “so grateful” their newborn was sleeping well, a milestone any new parent can appreciate.

The last arrival came just this week. Actor Chris McNally — who plays Lucas Bouchard on WHEN CALLS THE HEART — and his wife, actress Julie Gonzalo, welcomed their second daughter and announced the news exclusively to PEOPLE magazine on June 24, 2026. The couple already has a 4-year-old girl at home, and no name for the newborn has been shared.

“We are so incredibly grateful to have this new little girl in our family,” McNally and Gonzalo told PEOPLE. The couple admitted the adjustment back to newborn life caught them a little off guard: “We seem to have forgotten how small newborns are — it seems impossible our oldest was ever that tiny! There have been plenty of family snuggles, though, which helped make the exhaustion easier to handle.”

“It’s safe to say we are still adjusting,” the couple added. “Going from one child to two has changed the rhythm of our household and required a new level of time management. Though despite the juggling act and a few expected (and unexpected) bumps along the way, we are slowly finding our new rhythm.”

McNally had first dropped the baby news himself at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City, Missouri last November — announcing on the spot that Gonzalo, Krakow and Wallace had all gotten pregnant within a six-week window of one another.
