WHEN CALLS THE HEART stars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum are ready to become parents!
“It’s been really, very special,” Krakow told Entertainment Tonight of her pregnancy. “I think the main thing [I’m excited for] is just building a family with my husband.”
She continued, “It’s been really an incredible journey…I have to give it up to Hallmark and our production team. They have been so supportive.”
Rosenbaum agreed, saying, “It’s incredibly exciting. I think there’s also, you know, nervousness…this is our first time, but overall, I honestly just feel — and you know, maybe I’ll live to regret saying this — but I feel pretty confident.”

“It really is because of Erin,” he added. “I just feel like, with her, we can do anything together.”
Krakow and Rosenbaum met on the set of WHEN CALLS THE HEART, going public with their relationship in 2024. The following year, they revealed they had wed, and in November of 2025, the couple announced Krakow’s pregnancy.
They aren’t the only WCTH actors who are expecting; Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace, who also wed after meeting on the WCTH set, recently announced they’re expecting their first child, while co-star Chris McNally and his partner, Julie Gonzalo, are expecting their second child.
“We are so excited,” Krakow told Swooon. “We’re very close friends, and so the fact that we’re all going to have babies around the same age, I mean, within six weeks, I think, of each other, it’s just the most delightful surprise.”
She continued, “It’s been really nice to be able to lean on one another as well. We’ve got little text chains where we can send questions and comments about our experience.”
In another interview with Scary Mommy, the WCTH actress shared, “It’s nice to have a community you can lean on, and it feels pretty comparable to the way we handle life in Hope Valley. So, art imitating life or vice versa. But it’s really been very special, and it’s probably my favorite chapter of my life so far. I can’t wait to see what next year brings.”
Krakow added that she’s “trying not to over-Google or overread” as she prepares for her baby’s arrival, saying, “I think that is helping to protect me from being terrified because I’m just very much taking it one day at a time.”
Hearties can’t wait for these WCTH stars to welcome their little ones!
