NO LIMBS, NO LIMITS: THE NICKV STORY will open at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival on July 7.
“Being able to debut my documentary at my hometown festival is truly a full-circle moment,” said Nick Vujicic in a press release. “As a young boy living in Australia with a dream to reach people with the hope of the Gospel, it is an honor to bring this film home to the community that shaped who I am and inspired the many life-experiences viewers will get to see.”
The movie will come to American theaters on Sept. 25, 2026.
Susannah Stone, Melbourne Documentary Festival Director, shared, “We are honoured to have NO LIMBS, NO LIMITS documentary in competition at Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, and be able to premiere the film in Australia. This is such an inspiring and thought-provoking movie, as viewers follow along with Nick and his family as they challenge what a ‘full life’ is allowed to mean.”
The documentary shares Vujicic’s story as a man with no limbs — yet who found a passion through speaking and sharing the gospel after facing serious depression.

At age 10, Vujicic tried to commit suicide.
“I wondered what purpose my life could possibly have,” Vujicic said. “But I realized that if I ended my life, I would leave my family with even greater pain. I saw in my mind my mom, my dad, my brother and my sister crying at my grave, and that one thought saved me. That realization changed everything.”
At age 17, a friend encouraged him to use his voice, and it sparked a passion in him. Since then, the 43-year-old has married, become a happy father of four, spoken in 83 countries and founded a global ministry, Life Without Limbs.
“What changed my life was not that he healed the blind man — what changed my life is that the blind man didn’t ask any questions, and he didn’t stop Jesus from doing the miracle,” Vujicic previously told Sadie Robertson Huff on her podcast. “That’s when I realized whether God will heal me or not — if I don’t get a miracle — I can still be one.”
After Vujicic and his wife, Kenae, had their first son, Kenae said, “Regardless of what other dads can do, I value Nick for all he does for both Kiyoshi and myself. It’s fun to see Nick make new ways to have interactions with Kiyoshi. Watching them play together and seeing how Kiyoshi adores him is beautiful.”
Vujicic wants one million people to see his story in theaters. Tickets for the documentary go on sale Aug. 14 via nickvfilms.com and through participating Fathom Entertainment theaters.
