What You Need To Know:

THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM, a documentary, follows a couple, John and Molly Chester, who live in a little condo in Santa Monica. John’s a cinematographer working in Hollywood, while Molly’s interested in cooking. When the two adopt a rescue dog, and the dog barks all day in the condo, they realize they must move. This may be the time they can go live out Molly’s dream, of building a farm and using produce from the land to cook. When they buy a 200 acre farm during the California drought, they wonder if they can ever get the land to produce anything. Hoping to develop a farm that’s extremely diverse, Molly and John need to have a lot faith and hope.

THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM has a strong moral worldview about taking care of God’s creation given to us. The movie also shows a beautiful example of life and the birth of babies and animals. Even though there is one mention of a prayer, the movie doesn’t explicitly mention God as the creator. Overall, THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM is entertaining and has some touching moments.

THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM follows the growth and development of a farm in Southern California. THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM has a positive moral worldview about taking care of the Earth God created.

THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM follows a couple, John and Molly Chester, who live in a little condo in Santa Monica. John’s a cinematographer working in Hollywood, while Molly’s interested in cooking. When the two adopt a rescue dog, and the dog barks all day and all night in the condo, they realize they must move. This may be the time they can go live out Molly’s dream, of building a farm and use produce from the land to cook.

Molly and John decide to buy a farm with 200 acres, but they don’t realize the amount of work it will take to just getting the land to produce, because of a long drought. When they hire a consultant named Alan to help them, he tells them they have a lot of work to be done before the land will even be ready to produce.

Hoping to develop a farm that’s extremely diverse and runs completely on its own, Molly and John need to have a lot of faith and hope to make it through.

THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM has a strong moral worldview about taking care of God’s creation given to us. The movie also shows a beautiful example of life and the birth of babies and animals. Even though there is one mention of a prayer, the movie does not explicitly mention God as the creator.

Overall THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM is entertaining and has some touching moments. The cinematography is well done and interesting throughout. Though this is the case, there is no central plot line to the movie. It is more of a linear timeline of the events of the farm throughout the years.
