Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham Unite Again for Life-Changing Tour

A new documentary will share special stories that fueled worship leaders Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham on their Summer Worship Nights tour.

In partnership with Angel Studios, the documentary titled FOR THE ONE shares “Equal parts behind-the-scenes access and Summer Worship Nights concert footage, experience the fun, friendship, and community…” per the FOR THE ONE movie website.

“FOR THE ONE is a powerful reminder that worship is deeply personal and profoundly unifying. Brandon and Phil’s music has moved millions, and now their story will inspire even more as it finds a home on the Angel App,” Chief Distribution Officer at Angel Studios Jared Geesey said in a recent press release.

Both singers shared their hearts for the documentary.

“My hope for this documentary is that it would not only show what it takes to go on tour, but why the music and touring mean so much to us,” Brandon Lake explained. “Countless lives have been changed, especially ours. Though we’ve had the opportunity to influence many, our focus remains FOR THE ONE.”

Phil Wickham added, “Never in my life did I think I would be a part of telling a piece of my story in film. I hope the stories encountered through this movie show everyone watching how much they are loved by the ONE. I can’t wait to share this with the world, and I hope people are encouraged by it.”

Both artists are very vocal about their faith, and they encourage others to praise God no matter what. Wickham recently took to Instagram to post a music video of his song “The King Is In The Room” and encourage his followers.

“No matter where we are, we can praise Jesus,” he wrote in the caption. “It doesn’t matter the size of the room or who we’re with. Love singing this song! It’s been flying on tour. Brings so much hope and expectation for what the Lord is going to do. It’s been setting our hearts in the right place too come and give the King praise. 🙏🏼🙌🏼”

The duo are getting ready to launch the Summer Worship Nights tour once again. In a post to Instagram, Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham announced that the first show will hit Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on July 17 and will conclude in London, England, on Aug. 25. Rising Christian worship artist Josiah Queen will join them at all stops except for London.
