More Detail:
STILL HOPE is a drama about a 16-year-old kidnapping and sex trafficking victim, including her journey to regain a normal life after being rescued.
Hope is a regular teenage girl, prone to arguing with her parents and spending too much time texting friends. One night, she sneaks out to meet up with a boy she’s been messaging, and winds up kidnapped by sex traffickers.
Hope is forced to take drugs and fornicate with men. Her captors threaten her, as well as the lives of her family. She spends years in captivity, but after finding the courage to speak to a woman in a public bathroom, Hope is saved.
Hope’s problems are far from over, however. She struggles to re-enter “normal” life, plagued by nightmares and doubts about her Christian faith. She winds up moving to a rehabilitation home for girls who have been trafficked and slowly begins to rebuild her life. . . and her relationship with God.
STILL HOPE is an unflinching look at the very real tragedy of sex trafficking. Hope’s experiences are portrayed starkly but not excessively, allowing viewers to fill in the blanks. However, the movie drags in the second half, with little drama or emotion to keep audiences interested.

It features many scenes of characters attending church, praying, speaking about their own experiences with faith, and encouraging others to embrace God.
