More Detail:
Tired of dates that lead nowhere, gallerist Emma is looking for someone stable: good job, friendly, wants to start a family. Meanwhile, Conrad, who works in finance, wants to feel the lightning bolt of love at first sight.
During a subway ride, the pair meets strangers with whom they feel a fast connection. However, neither one gets the contact information of their mystery strangers. Conrad places a “missed connections” ad in a local paper, which Emma ends up answering.
Although the pair aren’t each other’s mystery subway strangers, they decide to help each other out — Emma vows to find Conrad’s connection, while Conrad says he can set Emma up with coworkers.
Emma and Conrad get closer as they keep spending time together, but when both think they might have found their “One,” they have to decide what’s more important — following their plans, or following their hearts.
