The Season 19 finale of HEARTLAND, streaming on UPtv, follows a new adventure on the ranch. The episode opens with Nathan, Lou and Jack confronting the rustlers who’ve been stealing their cattle. It’s a risky move, and it almost lands them in deep waters, but Peter shows up to assist, and they can finally put the thugs behind bars. 

 Something doesn’t seem right to Nathan, though. After doing some digging, he uncovers a dirty secret that could jeopardize everything. 

 In the meantime, Georgie is on the fence about whether to compete in her last competition with her horse, Phoenix. He’s been performing poorly and is knocking off bars on every jump. Georgie knows she needs to retire him, but she wrestles with the idea of letting go of one of her best companions. 

 Dex is also wrestling with his emotions as he works through his anger issues and begins to mature. Jack recognizes it and invites him back to the ranch, giving him a second chance. 

 The Season finale of Season 19 of HEARTLAND does a great job of invoking emotion as it shows the ups and downs on the ranch. Times are changing on the ranch, and viewers can feel it tangibly as the episode progresses. The cinematography is well done, and the episode is well-paced. Overall, the finale is heartwarming and does a great jobwrapping things up for the season.
