What You Need To Know:
MIKE & NICK & NICK & ALICE has some hilarious, entertaining twists. Also, the movie has a rather redemptive story that extols repentance and sacrifice. Two characters actually risk and even sacrifice their lives for other people. Sadly, however, the movie’s heroes, who are trying to right some wrongs, eventually decide they must solve the movie’s final major plot problem with extreme violence. So, the movie’s worldview is mixed. MIKE & NICK & NICK & ALICE also has lots of strong, almost constant foul language. So, the movie is excessive and ultimately unacceptable.

Lots of bloody, very strong and strong violence includes a large fight with many gun battles and much fighting in the second half, many people are shot dead or sometimes impaled, bullet blows a large hole in an assassin’s head, that assassin is said to eat his victims after he kills them, men engage in a lengthy an brutal combat sequence inside a living room, a man accidentally shoots another man dead when he’s unexpectedly startled but regrets it and tries to make things right;
No bedroom or fornication sex scenes, but a criminal is having an affair with another criminal’s estranged wife, but the other criminal repents from his life of crime and decides to let his wife go, and a young ex-convict suddenly and comically becomes impotent when a friend tells him that his best years as a young man and playboy were taken away from him when he was put into prison, and the ex-convict’s gangster father enlists several women to have an orgy with his son. who just got out of prison, but the son can’t perform because of his friend’s comment, and, in another scene, he doesn’t enjoy a lap dance;
Rear female nudity in one scene and brief upper male nudity, plus women with revealing clothing attend a wild party;
Some alcohol use, especially at a raucous party;
Some smoking and brief cocaine use; and,
Criminal has framed another criminal but regrets his action and tries to make things right.
More Detail:
The movie opens with a black mob boss, Sosa, welcoming the return of his adopted son, Jimmy Boy, from prison. Sosa plans an extravagant party for Jimmy Boy, with three after parties!
Meanwhile, a mob assassin nicknamed Quick Draw Mike, played by James Marsden, has arranged a hotel rendezvous with Alice (Eiza Gonzáles), the wife of another mob assassin, Nick, played by Vince Vaughn. Though Nick and Alice’s marriage has been on the fritz for a long time, Nick has found out about Alice’s love affair with Mike. So, out of revenge, he’s framed Mike as the man who betrayed Sosa’ son and sent him to prison, even though he knows another mobster did it. Sosa has called a third mob assassin, who likes to cannibalize his victims, to kill Mike during the party.
However, before the party for Sosa’s son begins, Nick accidentally kills the inventor of a time machine whom Alice had helped get funding from the mob. Instantly regretting the fatal accident, Nick has a total change of heart and decides to use the time machine to stop Mike from being killed and to find a way to stop the inventor’s accidental death.
Nick’s plan seems sound, but all sorts of comical complications ensue.
