In the Hallmark+ prequel series HOPE VALLEY: 1874, viewers meet Hope Valley’s beginnings as ranchers and gold-rush prospectors fight over land — and newcomer Rebecca Clarke must decide whether life on the frontier suits her and her daughter.
Rebecca Clarke and her daughter Sarah travel hundreds of miles to reach the frontier, where they plan to operate a boardinghouse Rebecca purchased from a newspaper ad. The pair intend to settle out west, but they feel uneasy as the land’s ranchers and the gold-seekers, clash, each determined to strike it rich.
