‘Another Little Miracle Is In Motion:’ Sadie Robertson Huff Is Expecting Baby No. 2!

By Movieguide® Contributor

Sadie Robertson Huff has some exciting news — she and her husband Christian Huff are expecting a second child!

“Another little miracle is in motion,” she captioned a photo of the couple, their daughter Honey, and the ultrasound images of the newest addition to their family.

Sadie previously spoke about her love motherhood and spending time with Honey, who was born in 2021.

Movieguide® previously reported:

Sadie Robertson Huff recently reflected on how it felt to bring her baby girl home from the hospital this time last year.

In an emotional Instagram post, Huff wrote, “This year, this girl, has taught me the value of time. I think for most of life you have the tendency to want to rush time. You can’t wait to turn 10, can’t wait to get your license, cant wait to graduate, can’t wait to be married, can’t wait to have a kid… and then you do and all you want is for time to stop for a while so you can just be right where you are at. For the first time in, well, a long time, I’m not wishing away the season I’m in to get to the next. In fact I’m wishing that right here right now I could just stay a little longer.”

Her caption continued:

The funny thing about time is, is that it doesn’t actually change its pace – we just constantly change our perspective. So I guess I will just keep letting time do it’s thing, but learn to stay this content with my days, with my family, and with the things that matter most.

My Honey girl, your smile alone makes every second the most precious second I’ve seen! Can’t believe we are about to celebrate 1 year of your life that has changed mine forever!

Movieguide® also reported on how faith plays a role in how Sadie and Christian parent:

Former DUCK DYNASTY star Sadie Robertson Huff opened up recently about how the Christian faith will influence how she and her husband, Christian, will parent.

“[Christian] is pumped. He’s so giddy. He’s so excited to be a dad. He’s practicing [diapers]. I’m so excited to see what type of parents Christian and I become,” Robertson told Fox News. “The Bible talks a lot about childlike faith. And it encourages you to have faith like a child. And my mom always said that when I was little, I would just ask all these questions. I would deepen her faith a lot because kids ask light, innocent questions before the child grows up and knows what the world is like. And so I can’t wait to look at our daughter and see the wonder in her eyes and just learn from her.”

Shortly after announcing her pregnancy, Robertson Huff revealed that she battled the COVID-19 virus and spent time in the hospital.

“You know, I ended up in the hospital and you can’t have anybody with you. You’re there alone. It’s scary so I just wanted people to understand that there’s a level of respect that we need to have when it comes to people who are dealing with this virus because it’s hard and you don’t know what people are going through,” Robertson shared.

Robertson Huff also said the family is excited about future celebrations.

In addition to Robertson Huff’s pregnancy, Bella Robertson announced her engagement, and John Luke Robertson and his wife announced they are expecting their second child.

“I just got off the phone with [Bella] and she said, ‘I need help. I’m trying to plan this rehearsal dinner with my in-law.’ So, yes, she is calling for help. She’s asking for my advice, which I’m so happy to give because I’m so happy for her,” Robertson Huff said. “I would have never imagined that she and I would get married so close together.”

In the mean time, Robertson Huff is excited to be progressing well in her pregnancy.

“I literally had morning sickness every day from week seven to 17 and I just hit 18 and I am a new person. I’m feeling really good,” Robertson Huff said. “My family is so excited. They’re just thrilled. My sister-in-law is pregnant as well. We are a week and a half apart. Everyone is excited to welcome two new babies into the picture.”

In the mean time, Robertson Huff encouraged others to remain close to the Lord during this isolation and rely on Him to meet their needs.

“God is still God,” Robertson said. “He’s not confined to walls. He’s not confined to a church or a building. And so you can still have that same experience with Him in that way. I think it’s important to keep reaching out to people so that you don’t lose that fellowship with one another.”
