An urgent reminder for all TV watchers and loyal fans of the Movieguide® TV program who receive their TV signal over the air with a traditional metal antennae on the roof:
You’re about to lose TV coverage!
In February, the switch from analog to digital TV began and is to be completed this Friday June 12, 2009. Stations are dropping their on-air notices that if you receive TV via cable or via satellite you already are compatible. But, if you get TV over the air by an antenna, you will need to get a converter box in order to receive the signal.
Here’s the official web site for up to the minute info: www.dtv.gov. Or, you can call them and get the information at 888-225-5322 (1-888-CALL FCC).
On the site, you can put in your zip code and find out how to get a converter box in your area.
