An adorable viral video captured Indianapolis Colts cheerleader Morgan McLain communicating with a young fan using American Sign Language.

The video posted to TikTok by Veronica Ochoa, the mom of the young fan named Mark, sees McLain get down to eye-level as they had the sweetest conversation.

McLain first asked Mark if he was “excited for the game” as she gave him a photo book of her and her cheer squad.

Once Mark realized she knew “a little bit of sign,” he became “visibly excited and gestured his thanks,” per PEOPLE.

McLain then asked Mark if he had ever been to a football game before. Since it was his first, she assured him that “It’s going to be so much fun.”

“Thank you so much for taking out your time to come see Mark,” Ochoa wrote in the caption.

McLain followed up with the family in the comment section, writing, “Truly such a special moment that I will never forget!! Glad I got to meet Mark and hope he had the best time at the game!!”

A few days after the viral interaction, McLain shared a little more about what went into the sweet moment.

“So Mark and I’s interaction seems to have absolutely exploded on social media, and I’ve been getting a lot of similar questions, so I thought that I would take time to answer some of them here,” she said in an Instagram video. “One of the most common questions I’ve been getting is, ‘Where did I learn ASL?'”

“I actually minored in ASL in college, so when I was going to college, I had to study a foreign language, and I had studied Spanish in high school for like four years, and none of it stuck with me,” McLain explained. “So I decided that I would choose a different foreign language, and I was looking at all of the ones that they offered, and I noticed ASL was on there. And growing up, my aunt was an ASL interpreter, so I learned a few signs here and there, and loved the language from that.”

“So I thought that it would be great to try out for my foreign language credit,” she continued. “And then after my very first class of ASL, I instantly fell in love with the language. It is just so beautiful and so unique and so different from any other language. And I love the facial expressions, the hand movements, movements that it requires to, you know, relay your message to other people.”

McLain and Mark’s interaction will forever be a memory they both treasure!
