Here’s How You Can Watch the World Cup

The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicked off last Thursday. We have everything you need to know to watch all your favorite teams.

The US, Canada and Mexico are co-hosts for the 48-team tournament, which will host a total of 104 matches across 16 different cities in just 39 days.

The US opened with Paraguay on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Group D qualifying at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.

Fox Sports is the home of the FIFA World Cup, which means all of the matches can be streamed on FOX, on the FOX One app or on Peacock.

“FIFA is putting on the biggest World Cup in history, and FOX Sports is living up to that standard,” said Eric Shanks, CEO & Executive Producer, FOX Sports. “Our broadcast schedule affirms FOX is truly going to be America’s home for the beautiful game over a span of 39 incredible days. We look forward to bringing the country together for its 250th birthday with all the world here for the greatest event on the planet.”

According to Deadline, the tournament began on Thursday in Mexico City with Mexico facing off against South Africa in a Group A match. South Korea-Czechia played later that evening.

The championship match will be held on July 19 MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Group play will run from June 11 to June 27.

The Groups are as follows:

Group A: Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, and Czechia

Group B: Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, and Switzerland

Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland

Group D: United States, Paraguay, Australia, and Türkiye

Group E: Germany, Curaçao, Côte d’Ivoire, and Ecuador

Group F: Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, and Tunisia

Group G: Belgium, Egypt, Iran, and New Zealand

Group H: Spain, Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay

Group I: France, Senegal, Iraq, and Norway

Group J: Argentina, Algeria, Austria, and Jordan

Group K: Portugal, Congo DR, Uzbekistan, and Colombia

Group L: England, Croatia, Ghana, and Panama

 

The majority of the tournament will feature two games each day, but on the “sixth day of the tournament, Tuesday, June 16, FOX will air a star-powered FIFA World Cup 2026™ tripleheader starting with Kylian Mbappé and France vs. Senegal from New York New Jersey, followed by the Winner of Playoff 2 vs. Erling Haaland and Norway from Boston and ending with reigning FIFA World Cup™ champion Argentina and superstar Lionel Messi vs. Algeria from Kansas City. Live coverage on FOX will commence at 2:00 p.m. ET that day with FIFA WORLD CUP™ LIVE and conclude at 11:00 p.m. ET,” Fox Sports reported.

The second round of the tournament will kick off on June 28 beginning with Group A No. 2 vs Group B No. 2, at noon PT in Los Angeles.
